High Definition TVs

Watching High Resolution TV is like a window into another room - it's not like watching TV, it's like seeing something real, right in front of you.

Almost all new televisions over 26 inches are HD-ready, which means they can show high-definition pictures that are sharper and more detailed than those on regular TV, and product much better sound quality.

HD-ready means the TV is just that - ready to display high-definition broadcasts. But you must also have an HD signal coming into the TV to get the benefits. You can get that by paying monthly subscriptions to Sky or Virgin HD services, or buying Freesat from the BBC and ITV.
